  • I bought a can of paint there that was supposed to come with a $10 rebate back in September. I looked on line to see why I didn't get the check. According to their website, the receipt said I didn't buy the item and went on to list the items eligible for that rebate. While I still have some leftover paint in the can, I looked at the label. That paint was the second eligible item on their list. So I got screwed out of $10 because Home Depot didn't code their receipt correctly. Instead of rebates, why don't store just start giving the discount up front? I really question if that's such a good place to do business with if they make you go through all of that hassle to get the damn rebate and screw you out of it in the end.
