Ontrac (or as I like to call them, Offtrac) is the worst shipping service I've encountered. Amazon has started using them, and I've had nothing but problems with them.
I live in an apartment complex, and all packages are left at the office. It's not possible to get into the individual buildings as we have a security system. Every other shipping service has no problem with this, including USPS, Fed Ex and UPS.
However, Ontrac routinely "fails in delivery" because they can't get in the building. This is despite the fact that I have called them multiple times and informed them they have to leave packages at the office, and each time they say they've made a note of it on their computers. Their drivers will try to get other residents to let them in the building, and if they somehow get in the building and I'm not home, they leave my packages out in the public hallway where anyone can take them. The packages are never delivered on time, and it often takes 2-3 days longer because of the numerous "failed deliveries".
This is a very unprofessional organization. I'm amazed they're still somehow in business.
