| - Great promoters, spoke to a few of them and they were all excellent.
The club is also very nicely done and elegant, stage is great, dance floor is small compared to other clubs in LV like Omnia. Sound system is perfect and the audio visuals are perfect.
1 star because like everyone else said it's a mad house inside. The door staff obviously do not limit the number of people they are letting into the venue. You can't even be at the bar, which is off of the dance floor without being trampled over. The dance floor is a disaster waiting to happen. The fire marshal honestly needs to see this madness. You go into the pit and you aren't leaving the pit!
I came here to dance, couldn't dance
I came here to get a drink, couldn't get a drink
I came here to have fun, didn't have fun because who could with being packed into a tiny venue.
LV nightclubs make a lot of their nightly revenue on alcohol sales. Do Jewel management not see that they are limiting their own revenue by allowing so many people inside. If it's so packed you can't get a drink, then that's revenue lost. If it's so packed that by 1am people are leaving the venue (which I saw countless), than that is revenue walking out the door.
Last comment: dress code in LV. It was nice to see a club that wasn't as strict on dress code as other clubs, but Jewel basically doesn't have a dress code I'm assuming? People were in there in t-shirts. Saw plenty of guys in sneakers. Saw people with their jackets still on. Baggy jeans on guys, jeans that weren't clubbing appropriate (I believe no one should wear jeans to a nightclub, you wear slacks and nothing else). When you come to Vegas you expect to be surrounded by glam. It's nice going to a nightclub and everyone is dressed with class and sophistication. Baggy jeans in a club with sneakers uhhhhh just don't go out.
