| - A nice craft brewery with a willingness to take chances, and in addition, they serve a good selection of food, at least as good if not better than most bars and restaurants.
I've been coming here on and off for many months, sometimes just for one of their beers, but sometimes like today to grab a bite to eat. They make a surprisingly good flatbread pizza, simple but tasty.
Of the staff, only one I've interacted with much is Anthony, and he's extremely competent and very knowledgeable.
Today I'm having the barbarian all-meat pizza, I've had it before, and Anthony suggested to spice it up with some locally grown Fresno peppers.
They have live music on some sort of regular basis, tonight it's a 3-piece playing old Eagles and other 70's stuff. Not exactly my thing, but it's a differentiator.
It's convenient, located at next to the five or six points intersection of Dunlap, Cave Creek, 7th, and I think two or three other little streets.
Right now there's 12 of their own beers on tap, and each one of them is notable in one wY or another. I'm pretty sure I've tried them all. In the past few months, it seems they've had a kindling of interest in hops, and have made some very nice beers.
Finally, my wife likes the place and the food, she doesn't care for beer. But they have a decent selection of wine and that works for her.
I recommend this place for good beer and tasty food.
