  • Not a fan of this shop. I've had at least three of my quilts machine quilted there and it hasn't been a pleasant experience at all. I always know the measurements of my quilts but she (the owner) insists that it's quite a bit larger using far less exact measuring (and thereby charges me more). She also makes you pay the full amount in advance as opposed to other shops that will always only have you pay a portion up front so that you can assess their work at the end. Maybe this is why...my last quilt she returned to me with an inch long black mark on the white fabric (it looked like it had maybe been caught in her machine or something to that effect). When I called to ask her about it she promptly told me that it was my problem and that she "hoped I got it all figured out". Her attitude and customer service is terrible, and it always takes a very long time to check out at her register as her system is very old. I've driven to the shop twice now just to have her be closed (during her store hours). From now on I'll be driving all the way across the valley to go to the much better shops on the east side.
