| - I will give the salon this...the decor is nice and it is clean. However, after reading rave reviews, I chose this salon over the one I've gone to for years for a change. I asked for callous remover, it was applied, but he spent little time actually buffing my feet so there was no point because he barely scrubbed. After the 2nd coat of nail polish I noticed it wasn't even, there were spots on the nail where the actual white from nail poked through, and he didn't even coat all of my nail. So I mentioned it. He then applied another coat. Still messy and now goopy. A lady came to take over, and her way of fixing was to apply yet another coat of polish. Making it more goopy and bubbly. Finally, she started over. Meanwhile, I've been there well over an hour and am frustrated. She finishes then bumps my nail and has to re-do that nail all over. She never spoke to me. Instead, her and the gentleman that started were talking in Chinese/Japanese and laughing to each other. And I heard them both speak perfectly good English. That is rude. The lady finishes then just walks away. Doesn't say a word. I've been polite so far, despite my frustration. She then sends ANOTHER lady over for the design. She doesn't acknowledge me and is rude. So now I'm dry and ready to leave and am beyond frustrated. The girl checking me out asks if everything was ok. I tell her I'm frustrated over spending so much time there for sloppy work and rude service. She says "sorry" then rings me up, charges more than initially quoted, and asks how much I'm going to tip. No tip. Never will return.
