My bf took me here for breakfast a few weeks ago and I loved it! The Senator has managed to maintain an old-school diner feel, much like what you might find in New York. Very cute! They even have menus posted from way back when everything cost mere cents! The booths are a little crowded, but service is quick and attentive. We had to wait for our booth, but I was happy we did.
We both ordered the House Smoked Salmon Omelette with Brie and Fresh Herbs. It was delicious and came with a homemade chili sauce, which although not spicy, was a very interesting and welcoming touch to our plates.
I'd like to come back again, but would be happy if the wait time was a little shorter. It is well worth it though!
