  • Dillens serves Thrifty's ice cream, and everyone loves Thrifty's so I won't review that portion. I've been to the ice cream shop a couple of times. The owners are super friendly, and they have fun promotions almost daily. Some of the prices are a bit outrageous - $6.99 for a banana split!? I think the prices per scoop are a little more reasonable at around $1.50. Some may be tempted to walk 15 steps and buy a whole container from Walmart, but it is fun to visit once in awhile. Docking a star because I didn't see the man who made my banana split wash his hands nor did he have on gloves, and he did touch the banana. He also licked hot fudge from his finger towards the end of my concoction. I'm a bit of a germaphobe so those things bothered me, but everyone's different. I'm not sure if I'll be back.. we shall see.
