| - Came here cuz it was nearby and my roommate is on a quest to find the best sausage gravy in town! Alas this one wasn't it , theirs is country gravy as I was told !! Lol
I ordered a oj which if it was fresh it was good but if it was bottled it was excellent , perfect pulp ratio , for breakfast I ordered the chicken fried chicken with eggs over medium and home fries/ country potatoes , everything I had was perfection , the chicken was cooked to perfection crispy on outside and juicy inside and served piping hot ! The potatoes were ample and cooked with small chunks of peppers and onions one word DELISH! Eggs were a perfect over medium, their sourdough toast was thick and again the perfect golden color , only problem with that I asked for extra butter and it was rather dry and maybe a butter oil? I asked and got extra butter on side and that was a quick remedy but toast was already cooled down and jelly/jam selection was generic and overly high fructose corn syrupy , which when everything else was fresh and delish , that was a bit of a let down, as for my friend which is the reason for a 4 instead of 5 star rating and I'm taking his word for it , was that everything on his plate was Luke warm , he did order hash browns and on menu says add extra 6 mins cuz they do make them fresh maybe that was the reason ??? But his coffee was just warm as well and gravy on his biscuits was as well ( that I could attest to ) all in all I enjoyed my breakfast and I am a big breakfast lover , this place did not disappoint!!
