  • I really enjoyed my stay at this particular doubletree property in Uptown Charlotte. The hotel's modern design and colors were a very welcome change from the typical hotel experience but the lack of free wifi was a little discouraging, along with the distance to travel to most of the local restaurants and bars. If you're planning on going out for an evening of dinner and drinks plan to get a cab back to the hotel. The staff at the hotel was very polite and the cookie you receive when checking in is delectable.
