The food at Ellis Island is quite decent. Prices are reasonable and my favorite / the grilled Salmon is acceptable.
On the down side there is always waiting ... We had to wait 20 minutes when half the dining hall is fenced off and closed. They could easily open increase capacity immediately by opening the hall.
My dining partner was upset as she tried to get a new bottle of catchup ... Twice calling the waiter no response.
The beers and house selection is very respectable. Some day I may raise number of stars... Based on this consideration ...
Also it is important to go at the right time. The bad singing and obnoxious noise of the worst Kareoke bar in town ( most bad Kareoke singers and drunks attempting to remotely sing) drive most serious dining customers away. The ordinary sober diner, person with a sound mind, could not tolerate ( and would not) this type of Kareoke NOISE.
