I visited this charming little shop for the first time today. The first thing you notice as you cross the threshold is the smell of anise from their gourmet pizzelles (they come in anise, lemon or almond BTW). The shop has this quaint midcentury kind of feel to me. The variety included several pie varieties available by the slice, an array of cookies, French macrons, tiramisu, baklava and others. They also have a large inventory of gourmet grain free dog treats as well.
The baklava is better than baklava I purchased from a full blooded Greek grandmother. You've got to try it!
The macrons had creamy flavorful centers enclosed between flavorful cookies. I prefer macron cookies with just a pinch more chewy pull to them, but the flavor was definitely there.
The staff was friendly, kind and helpful.
This spot is worth stopping by.
