I went to this Bass Pro Shop after seeing a TV ad for a sale on long sleeve camo t-shit for $14.98. When I got there, I found the display with the posted price for those t-shirts. On the other side of the same carousel was camo pants and jackets with a different sales price. On checking out, the line was short but long wait for cashier in training. After reviewing my receipt, I was charged $19.95. Went to the customer service line, waited 15 minutes only to be told the $19.95 price is right even though I described thoroughly the $14.95 posted sign on the rack. Asked and got the manager who gave a bland apology even after describing the posted $14.95 price and never made the effort to confirm and at the least remove the posted price. He then offered to "honor" the price because he was in the middle of meeting with some merchandisers. I guess it was more important to meet with merchandisers who wanted his business as opposed to he trying to keep a customer's loyalty. As a customer who spent more than $1,000 at this same store, which included a Glock in 40 caliber, in the past 2 1/2 months, I felt slighted and returned the t-shirt and other items which totaled close to $60.00. I was a large online customer with Bass Pro Shop's high profile competitor, but stuck with BPS even though this competitor recently opened their brick and motor store here recently. I now know I'll be returning to patronize the big "C" soon In the future.
