Okay - so when I first thought about coming here, I had a chill run down my spine. An image of hyperactive kids drooling, screaming and picking their noses flashed trough my mind - you know, staph infection waiting to happen. Totally not like that here!
So what was it like? Brand new and squeaky clean. A team manager greeted us, welcomed us, gave us the gist including prices. We filled out some waivers on one of the computer terminals and then went to the counter. It's $15 per kid for the first hour and $7 for a second hour (you don't have to decide right away how long you will stay). Yes you do have to buy a pair of their jumpy socks for $2, but you own them and have them for next time.
Trampolines everywhere. Want to climb a rock wall and jump in a pit of foam? Want to bounce on a trampoline and shoot a basketball (or jump in a foam pit again)? An area for dodgeball. An obstacle course. Want to have a pugil stick fight over...you guessed it, a pit of foam (notice a safety/fun theme)? Oh and yeah I just dropped the word pugil. Laser maze. Interactive video game projected on floor. Ride on mechanical bull says what? Snack bar with reasonable prices. Best of all - lots of people watching the kids to make sure there's no rough play going on.
So I do have to admit this place is pretty cool and a really had to fight the urge to jump into ... you guessed it, a pit of foam. Maybe next time....
