We had a group of 15 meeting for lunch. We arrived at their opening time,11am, in hopes of avoiding being detained by the "lunch time rush". There were only two others in the establishment at the time of our arrival. It took 15 minutes for our server to bring water to the table. It was a nice big glass of water. One individual in our party joked how someone could finish the entire glass of water. After waiting an additional 15 minutes our server finally took our orders. Smaller tables that arrived well after 11, had ordered and received their food while we sipped our drinks. We kept sipping, sipping and sipping... that's all we had for 35 minutes. 11:50 and we had sights many plates being shelved under the heating lamps. Another server and manager had to help out our server run the food. Immediately when I received my order, I asked for a box and my ticket. Others had finished their large drink, but didn't dare ask for a refill for it might take another 30 minutes, they opted to wait for the remaining ice in their glass to melt rather than ask for a refill. As most, I have limited time for my "lunch hour" and that time was spent sipping water. It took another 30 minutes for the bill to get settled and boxes to get distributed. Even, the simple act of closing our tab was a process, turns out they don't have more than a couple of pens. Overall the food was Meh- bar food.
Lunch service took 1hr 30 min.
This is NOT the establishment for large groups on a limited time.
Management should staff according to high volume time frames. I felt awful for the cook and our server- it was apparent that they were short staffed and overwhelmed.
The one star is for the size of their beverages.
