The seating is not the most comfortable, but the food is good. I am impressed with the tomato soup base that is served piping hot! I like the rice noodles (a bit thinner than the HK style) and the 3 slices of beef/etc. don't turn hard/dry after being in the soup for a long time. The 10 "side dishes" include 3 slices of meat, pickled veg & some meat sauce, corn, 3 cherry tomato halves, wood ear, fish tofu, 1 shrimp, 1 spam/ham? , quail egg and bean curd sheet - ie. not a lot BUT still a big portion of noodles that left me very full.
The duck tongue in mala sauce was not bad, served with a side of seaweed salad.
I thought I read on the menu that said No MSG? but apparently the spicy soup had quite a bit of it... so overall 3.5 stars.
