  • Here's my wife Kristen's write up: Folks, Jose Gallegos is the real deal!! He rescued me at sunset on Sunday night, after I was abandoned by AAA Plus, while broken down on the 51N. He arrived within 30 minutes of my SOS, loaded the car in a blink of the eye and drove me to my mechanic's garage. As I'm a gal, I was bowled over by his honesty, easy banter and fine old-fashioned gentlemanly manners. He insisted on waiting (this was a sketchy neighborhood) while I called a Lyft driver and then, offered--twice--to drive me home. Needless to say his chivalry won me over and I gratefully accepted. The final total for everything: a mere $65...what a fantastic experience! Thank you so very much, Jose and God bless you!
