| - This was our second time to this bakery. Both times yielded the same experience, so I feel confident in my review. Their selection consists of cookies, cupcakes, dessert bars, small cakes and larger cakes/pies to order. This is a pretty straight forward bakery, without any bells and whistles, meaning you can expect your regular type flavors (red velvet, peanut butter, chocolate, etc.). I tried their raspberry linzers and Boston cream cake this time. The cookies were soft, which is not typical of a linzer, but had a nice buttery flavor. There was more cookie than filing, a little more would have been better. The Boston cream cake was a little dry. The chocolate ganache covering the outside was a little thick for my taste, and the balance of cake/filling/ganache was off. I really came in for a cupcake, but they looked dry from the case, which was my experience last time we tried them, so I passed this time. The staff are personable. The shop is small and crowded which makes looking around and picking your poison a bit of a challenge. Overall, not my fav bakery in Las Vegas.
