| - Ryerson is a lovely campus, but campus life sort of suffers because it's in the best location in the city. Why spend time on campus when you're around the corner from yonge/dundas sq, eaton's centre/etc?
On campus eating options include a random sushi restaurant, a gross cafeteria, Tim Hortons bagels, or street meat! They have like 10 hot dog carts, and everyone identifies buildings by the hotdog cart in front of it - it's bizarre (but I don't like hotdogs).
All of the buildings are a few decades old, but look brand new. They do a great job of keeping their facilities clean and continously upgrade classroom equipment/technology. The library is 10 stories high, which is annoying because it takes forever to get an elevator, but they have a good mix of group study floor/quiet space.
The Student Centre is useful.... It has a nice little cafe (with healthier, fresher options than the other kiosks), the Ram and Rye ($13 pitchers!), and a copy shop. There's also an impressive row of m&ms/jellybean/mikeandike machines in the lobby...
They banned the sale of bottled water on campus (which is annoying because their water fountains are in the bathroom and attached to the bathroom sink - gross alert), however they have one filtered water dispenser for the entire campus in the student centre, and the pop machine in the basement of the library sells Dasani.
