| - The idea of this gym is great. It is spacious, has clean locker rooms, nice equipment, good class schedules, and good instructors. However, and this is my entire reason for giving it only 1 star. The classes are extremely overcrowded. They should have a system where people get a pass for the classes and when the passes are gone, the classes are full. The Body Pump classes were so overfilled with people arriving late and setting up their weights and benches dangerously close to other members. This was extremely frustrating for me as I was always 10-15 minutes early to class so that I can get a spot. When the members would arrive late as they always did for any class, their behavior and inconsideration, especially in Body Pump, became a safety issue. I cannot tell you how many times a late comer pushed their way so close to me or other members that we would have to monitor our workouts or just leave because it was too dangerous to stay. I had to quit this gym after my 5 1/2 year membership because I became so discouraged with the lack of safe behavior in the classes. I wrote management on more than one occasion and even offered solutions. However, the only thing that did end up happening is that you could only enter through one door and exit through the other. This did not help. People ignored the signs and did as they pleased. Again, making rules and not backing them up is counter productive. I cannot find any other gym that offers Body Pump with such frequency that I can fit 2-3 classes a week in my busy schedule so I have to improvise at home. I am very disappointed as I loved to go to the gym, and Body Pump was my favorite class of all in the more than 20 years that I have gone to the gym. I guess you have so many members that you don't care if you lose a few. Charge a bit more, create a pass system for the classes, enforce machine etiquette (not allowing people to sit on a machine that you need for 15 minutes while they play on their phone or text their friends) and you might lose a few bad seeds, but you would attract people who actually understand gym etiquette.
