We rented through Sterling Property Management 3 years ago and it has been a journey! We may have to go to court to get our security deposit back from this company. I feel since the property was not cleaned between rentals, it became our responsibility to clean and paint the property for the PM by way of our $1950 deposit. We had some fees due but reasonable is not a word in this company owner's vocabulary. I, too was charged $750 for painting and repairs, (which we are not aware of...what repairs??) $400 for cleaning tiles and grouting (this is not a tenant's responsibility- buffing and polishing floors). Normal wear and tear...isn't that the law?? After our meeting today, I will add more to this post. At this point, my suggestion is to avoid this PM company like the plague!!!!
