| - It is said that first impression is very important, and I have to give one star for this coffee shop, well, since zero star is not an option. I ordered a cup of egg coffee from this shop, and believe me, it didn't taste anywhere close to the real egg coffee, far from it actually. I'm from Hanoi where egg coffee was created, and I have had egg coffee many times. Calling coffee from this shop egg coffee is an insult to the real, authentic egg coffee I have had. The so call egg coffee was not cheap, yet mine came with a freaking plastic cup in very odd shape, and a quarter of recycle tray, literally. The quartered tray was totally useless, and the cup shape was so odd I could not put in any cup holder in my car, leave alone the fact that hot drink and plastic cup combination? Toxic! Service is terribly slow. One coffee, and when I left I was the only customer, but it took them like 15 mins. Big NO!!!
*Update:
1. I do know how the dripping coffee works, and it is the way 99% of coffee shops in Hanoi run. Please don't tell me how I should know it.
2. This is by far the most ridiculous thing, coffee in Hanoi is too sweet? People from both regions all agree that southern people have more of sweet tooth when it comes to any kind of food. Strong or not is one thing, but tasty and tasteless is another thing. Your coffee was tasteless. Please don't tell me how to run a business, I came to your store, expected fair to good food, my expectations were not meet. Instead of telling people what they should do, why don't you try to improve your store? If you think it is perfect, then keep it that way, anyway, your choice. I got the food, good or bad, I don't come back for refund, but thanks anyway.
3. No acceptable excuse! For example, Tim Hortons, even when you order triple, or more, milk or cream, which pretty much cool down the coffee, they still need to use paper cups. I don't expect your store to be on par with Timmy, since they are a huge corporation, but this is pretty standard. Why should I ask for a paper cup when it should be delivered in the first place? If you believe your coffee is not that hot, and assume it is, why do you need to to give useless quartered paper tray, because the coffee is hot? Contradict yourself much?
Oh good thing I saw your photo, it was you, i believe, sitting with a laptop and not acknowledge your customers. Poor, terrible service I have said.
