I'm putting aside my bias towards caged animals and solely rating this place on value for the $$. It's $20 per person for admission and a small "habitat" consisting of wired enclosures housing 1-3 lions of varying ages- roughly 20 total. You do get to see these beautiful animals up close, but it's pretty repetitive (there's some birds, ostriches, and a baby giraffe (super cute)) and it took maybe 20 minutes to walk through. Probably not the fairest comparison but a great art museum in LA, SF, and NYC is roughly the same $$.
Now onto the depressing part. For my husband and I it was a total bummer to see these amazing animals locked up in fenced in enclosures. Say what you may about the animals being happier, living longer, all the other bs- sorry- for us it was just sad..
