| - I come here off and on. Well OK, to be honest this is my "Cheers" where I usually go and sit at the bar and enjoy outstanding wine, appetizers ( the BEST burrata) and great company. But tonight I came by, my bar seats were taken, so I sat at a table. The special tonight was a new beef dish made with a grass fed beef from a special breed of cows from the Piedmont area in Italy. The backstory here is that I usually prefer to eat a more Paleo oriented diet where livestock graze, fish are caught wild in the ocean, vegetables are growing in my organic garden, or I'm foraging food from the field.
Mind you, I get that most of the food I eat at my favorite Italian restaurant is not that. But I trust that the love that's put into the cooking in the wonderful olive oils used make it a blessing to my digestive tract. NOW, I have a new meal I can order here that fits my most preferred dietary formulas! This grass fed beef was amazingly tender and tasty. Cooked to perfection, flavor leaning on its own deliciousness, served with exactly the right combination of arugula salad and hard cheeses. Hoping they find a good source for wild caught salmon eventually... I will be even more devoted.
Please come and try it!
