This locally owned operation is a step up from the previous tenants -- Dee's Donuts -- but can't compete with the better bakeries around town. Donuts are respectable in their execution, but largely unmemorable in flavor. The apple filled donut and cookie crumble donut were the best of what I tried. As for pastries, the raspberry turnover was plagued by a dense exterior and minuscule filling, while the pumpkin turnover had an excellent crust-like shell with a filling sorely lacking sweetness. Their menu also includes empanadas, soups, smoothies and more so a return visit may be warranted to see if savory options can surpass their sweet items.
