My exposure to this LCBO goes way back. My reference points are two large locations i.e. The original flagship on Cooper street and the one in the Bayview village mall. I started out with exploring the cooking/tasting classes offered here (wagyu, tapas and Bordeaux!) which are good if you want to learn to cook a few dishes and try out wines without breaking the bank. Then I seldom visit this location as the old flagship next door makes it hard to justify the visit here. Since the tasting by the shot concept is offered other location it's hard to come up here. However after a opportunity to attend a yelp event came up I decided to revisit. Glad to report there have been a few improvements since my last visit. There is a dedicated beer tasting area as well now. In addition the selection is second to none in Canada. I am referring to wines that are sold on auctions only, Bordeaux wines that are pre-sold before the season one can just walk in and pick them up without a hitch. The staff seems knowledgeable when I needed their help. I think I will start visiting them more as the old flagship next door is set to close soon.
