  • Horrible unethical service by the lady that deals with referrals. This wench must be the doctor's mistress because I know of no doctor that would be unaware or tolerant of this level of irresponsibility and incompetence. Considering complaining to the medical board. My father was given a referral by Dr Garber for physical therapy. The physical therapy order they gave is not the one covered by his insurance. 1) first error. Due to a car accident, my parents have had numerous rounds of physical therapy and at different locations. This is the first time we were erroneously given a referral not covered under their insurance. But! Ok, whatever mistakes happen. No biggie. 2) next screw up: my mom called and left a voicemail on their "existing" patient's line the very next day so my father can get physical therapy for back pain. No return call. She called the next day. Left a message. No return call. 6-7 more rounds of this...she frantically calls her insurance, her regular doctor, her previous PT, and all say, they cannot do anything until Dr Garber's office provides a referral!!! Only option is to start the whole damn process over. Do you know the only way we got that incompetent irresponsible wench to return our call??? I called another doctor's office in the building who told me they get complaints about that employee regularly. After explaining that we had not heard from Dr Garber's office in 10-11 days of this B.S., the sweetheart receptionist, said she would speak to someone in his office. In that 10-11 days of trying to get hold of someone, my dad's back pain got worse, my mom was beyond stressed, I (daughter) wanted to go postal on these people, and my dad had to wait that additional time to schedule his physical therapy. For an educated person, this doctor has got to be the dumbest doctor. He has NO phone number listed to get hold of someone after you become a patient of his!!!! Even the people that schedule his appointments could not get through. Pathetic all the way around
