Called to make an appointment here and I requested gel removal on my toes and hands and a regular mani and pedi at X time and date. The lady on the phone asked for my phone number and name and then just said ok thanks bye bye. So I was like wait did she book the appointment or not? I've worked in spas and salons before and we always repeat back the appointment to confirm everything is correct. So I called back to make sure it was booked and got a "yeah I was standing right here she booked it" then that lady at least repeated back my appointment. I was like eh maybe they're just busy so decided to go anyways. I was waiting behind a lady checking out to check it when a nail artist came up and was complaining about someone. She stood there and complained to the receptionist for at least 3 minutes and I was completely ignored. No oh I'll be right with you or anything. Then when they were done chatting I had to use the monitor to put in my appointment which I didn't understand why since I had already called and booked an appointment. The receptionist was talking to another worker during the entire time and I had to interrupt her twice because the first time I had to put my email in and it doesn't take periods and the second time because there's no option to add removal to the services. So then the receptionist just added my appointments for me anyways. She then tells me that the lady next to her will start my services by taking off the gel on my hands. She used a file and kept rubbing it on my cuticles (See the scabs on my pic). It was painful. Then she moved me to the lady that was going to do everything else and I had to tell her again that I had gel on my toes and wanted a mani and pedi. She was great, pleasant, and did a great job. At the end I was putting my boots back on and another nail tech was like oh no I'll give you flip flops. So she gave me flip flops and repainted my toes since I had put a sock on. (I usual have gels so I didn't know how long it needed to dry). She also gave me a bag to carry my boots in. So I'd say the receptionist needs training on customer service, and the first girl that did my gel removal needs to be trained more as well. Since the girl that did everything else (including taking the gel off my toes) didn't leave me scabs. But the actual nails techs I had were great. Don't think I'd go back though, too expensive for poor customer service.
