| - For my viewing (04/02/2017), I was able to see Janis Joplin (who touched my arm), Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis Presley. My favorites were Marilyn and Michael.
Marilyn was hilarious. She picks an old man from the audience (presumably someone with a wife), takes him up onstage and embarrasses the heck out of him. She doesn't sing much, but protrudes that wispy, sexy nuanced swagger that Marilyn projected. Chick is funny!
Michael Jackson looked exactly like the real Michael, especially with the pointy nose. He danced just like him and even talked in Michael's childish, sing-song voice. Dance moves were on point!
Elvis was alright. He did curl his lip like the real king and shimmied his hips a bit, but I feel as if could have done a bit more to get the crowd moving. He gave his scarves to some women in the front and flirted with them a bit, which was cute. Elvis did know to make that tight jumpsuit work, if you know what I mean...
Janis Joplin was true to life, and I felt as if I was watching the real lady. It's an interesting choice to be mixed among the other legends, but she really brought the power of love into the audience.
I will definitely go again when the artists change out. The one downside is the seating in the Donny and Marie Theater (inside of the Flamingo). If you can, get a chair near the front. DON'T get a booth unless you want some serious neck and back pain. A booth seats 7 people, so you will be sitting with people you don't know, which is kind of annoying, because your big ole butt will be pressed up against another big ole butt. No thank you!
Great show for the price. The impersonators were pretty much spot on. Can't wait to come back.
