I wanted to like Frank + Oak. I even tried to give them my money, but good customer service is the gateway to sales and Frank + Oak does frighteningly little to give the impression they care, much less do what every successful modern online outfit does to earn, keep, and grow customer business.
For me it's simple: in an age when phone calls aren't a normal way of doing business and companies encourage email, live chat, and Facebook I'd expect every one of these channels to be monitored and responded to if made available.
Additionally, in a fight for consumer dollars every effort to get that first sale is made. My attempts to take advantage of an offer code that made it to my inbox late failed, including contacting F+O by phone and email - the former getting a flat "no" and the latter getting no response at all.
It's a shame. I was hoping for at least parity with other online clothing sellers.
