No. No. No. Do NOT stay here. There are plenty of other Marriott properties to choose from. Leave this off your list. The following is written by a Marriott Gold Member.
First, other than the lobby, the property is run down and in badly need of an overhaul. Dank, mildewy hallways lead into suites that smell the same. We had an inside suite that had auto heating cranked to sauna level. Called to have it fixed and it never was. You can only control "cooling" but it was no match for the Soviet-style gulag heat.
Phones do not work. Received phantom calls and the supposed preset buttons on the phones did not work. Had to go through operator just to get to front desk, which often rang a dozen times before answering.
Don't expect much from housekeeping. No cleaning done, just a rearrangement of sheets on the bed. Used sofa fold out bed in suite, which was made once in three days.
Concierge, though incredibly friendly, was not helpful. Asked to book family at a local restaurant with a live BAND. Was booked at an extremely expensive restaurant with a piano bar, which even then we could not hear. Just another mess up.
No towels on a Saturday afternoon at the pool. Had to call to remind staff to place towels in self-serve booth.
Gym is a disorganized mess. Cable machine in dire need of maintenance with fraying cables and sticking plates.
Nothing endearing to this place aside from friendly but ultimately unhelpful staff. Definitely not up to Marriott standards. Stay at the Residence Inn or if you want high, Ritz.
