  • On our first night in Vegas, we wanted to live it up and check out a classy spot in a traditional, grand casino on the Strip. Yelp led us to Fizz. The decor is very fancy and hip. The huge portraits on the wall were a little odd, but I loved the lighting. There was a DJ playing some pop songs, but the transition between songs was a bit jarring. Nonetheless, those who were more drunk than we were had fun dancing by the DJ. The drinks were definitely some of the more expensive we saw in Vegas. I did really like my Velvet Fizz, but for $19 a pop, I couldn't really justify. Thankfully, the Yelp check-in saved us $19 on the second drink. The bartenders were ok, a little more interested in flirting with other bartenders or joking around with each other. The bar stools were tight on my butt; that's never a good feeling but perhaps reinforced that this bar wasn't exactly for me. At least they had posh fuzz on the outside of it! The ambiance is defintely "cool," and if you do the Yelp check-in, it's definitely worth a stop in.
