  • Chris & His Angels Chris, being the manager and all of the lovely people working there being the Angels of course. Why am I referring to them in this way? Because, at Dupar's you will find the most heavenly pancakes you have ever had the pleasure to enjoy on this planet! And, that's no hyperbole, they are really just that good! So fluffy, so melty and buttery..I salivate even as I write this quickie review. Best pancake ever. Period. Now, on to a few other items I decided to try while there: Tri-Tip Roast Beef Cheddar Cheese Sandwich on Sourdough: 5 stars out of 5 (must have this with Aus Jus for the full effect) Homemade Chicken PotPie: 4 out 5 Very filling, gigantic and homemade! Cup of Hot Chocolate: Yup it's 110 degrees and im still drinking it. 4 out of 5. Simply delicious cocoa. I would've given it a 5/5 if it came in a slightly bigger cup. The Service: Jose, my server everytime I go, is always very polite and attentive. But most of all, he is fast! I have never had to wait more than 10 mins for my plate to show and the food is always hot and fresh! I could not write this review in good conscience without mentioning Chris the manager. His vast and intimate knowledge of the menu is only matched by his friendly and non-threatning approach to his customers. You can ask for him by name and he will answer any question you may have while treating you like he has known you for years! Now, that's good service! And, quite appropiate for the homey atmosphere and comfort food being served here. Tldr: I absolutely would return to Dupar's to dine. Easily a Must Try experience for those visiting downtown Las Vegas.
