I love taking a nice stroll from my house in The Junction across the train tracks and up into an industrial zone just south of the Delta Bingo on St Clair. Not because it's a nice place to walk (guess what, it isn't), but because I get to walk to one of my favourite local places - the Junction Craft Brewing tasting room!
All of their beers are fantastic. I try to grab a different growler every time I go. Last time it was the Le Belge Brussels Pale Ale. Before that I took home a growler of La Cubana. I love grabbing a couple of samples-sizes of whatever new is on tap and make my own tasting flight, before I head home with a newly filled growler of beer.
Do I wish it was a little closer, or the neighbourhood was a little nicer? What if they served food? Sure. But then it wouldn't be the same thing. If that's what you're looking for, head to a brewpub like the Indie Ale House. But there is something special about the smell of hops when you walk in the door which makes every visit to Junction Craft Brewing a treat.
