I'll give them 5 stars for their efforts and good intentions, and for the friendly staff and 1 star for the food. Sorry :(.
I've been to Guam countless times as I have relatives on both ends of the island (in addition to couple visits during my military deployments) so am pretty confident to say that I kinda know Chamorro food. Most of Chamorro dishes are Pinoy-based (i.e. lumpia, pancit, kelaguen, among others) so I know most Guamanians/Chamorros frequent Filipino buffets in the valley when they crave something from the island. If there's one dish that uniquely theirs is, of course, the red rice but still, Red Rice's red rice didn't measure up to what I've had and what my Santa Rita and Dededo-based aunties prepare. I once brought my LA friends/relatives here for lunch and had their various combos for lunch. Then, we all walked to nearby Island Sushi Grill to eat some more :).
