| - Constantinos is an adorable little market that is located in the former Natures Bin store but has a more "supermarket" vibe. I was glad to see that prices are closer to what I would find at Giant Eagle or Heinens and they have a good selection of products. You can still find quite a lot of gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and local foods and products. They offer freshly ground coffee, bulk items, a deli, prepared foods, hot soups, and a bakery. Also, an impressive selection of beer, wine, champagne and cocktail mixers.
While we were there we picked up some grab-n-go sandwiches and a few items from the bakery. I grabbed a deli turkey sub. The bread was fresh and chewy & all the ingredients were quality. It was clear that the sub was recently made and hadn't been sitting around for days. However, the subs came already slathered with condiments which is a no-go for my husband. He asked the deli if they could prepare a sandwich for him without any condiments and they were glad to do so! I will say that we had to wait about 10 minutes for the sandwich but they staff was very friendly and accommodating. We sampled the carrot cake (really good!) and took home a m&m cookie and apple turnover. Both of us enjoyed our sandwiches and the bakery items were pretty good too.
I can certainly see us popping by Constantinos for some odds and ends, especially if we need some cold white wine (they had a whole case of it), kombucha (huge selection) or a sweet treat. I love the community feel and would love to support this business in the future.
