  • This place is great, and that's coming from a vegetarian. First, the atmosphere is awesome. It's really open and the booths surround a huge bar and tons of tv's. Phat Patti's veggie burger is awesome, and their herbed fries are super yummy as well. I brought my out of town friends here during their visit, and they all got the ground bacon/beef burger and raved about it. My favorite shake is the burnt almond torte...it has pieces of actual Prandl's burnt almond torte cake in it (with vanilla vodka!) and it's to die for. The salted nutella crunch shake is a close second. The shakes are HUGE, two people can really share one. The wait can be a little ridiculous on the busy nights, but that's to be expected. So many restaurants have failed in the spot that Burgatory now occupies, but it looks like Burgatory is here to stay.
