  • On our way to Baltimore, my coworker wanted to stop for lunch around the Pittsburg area so we decided on this place after the first pick was closed. I'm not exactly sure where this is located in relation to Pittsburgh but the location was really nice. Looks like all new development. Since I've never been to anything German before, this was an experience. Although it might not be "authentic" it was pretty cool. The waitresses are dressed up in their attire and the tables are all wood. Gave me a Harry Potter feel. Since we stopped by during lunch, we opted for their lunch buffet. I must say, unless you want something really specific off their menu, the buffet is the way to go! A few different types of sausages, a full salad bar with soup, and the usual comfort German foods. I loved their spicy sausage. Everything was great but I like that kind of food. Carbs and sausage! I saw that there is a location in Ohio too but it's 2hrs from me. I wish I could've got a beer but since I was driving and it was a company vehicle, I had to be responsible. On our way back, I was tempted to stop here again but it would've been dinner time.
