  • A home inspector reported that our electric heat pumps (2 out of 3) would not switch to HEAT. (He actually said the burner would not turn on, but that is a separate review). As a preferred contractor on my home warranty, Shaffer & Son's sent a technician. The technician arrived early for the appointment, did a thorough checkout of the units (voltage, pressures, temperatures) and found them in proper working order. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would call these guys even if they were not on my plan.
