| - OK. First, understand I can only rate based on my experience. I know some ladies who got perfectly fine results from this stylist. I am male, and I did not get a good result.
I thought I was clear when I said "out of my eyes, off my ears, and about the same off all the way around...I think they use a #4 for the back". At Great Clips they understand that and I get a reasonable cut. When she asked me what I wanted, that's what I said. For whatever reason (and I don't want to try to guess), Phylicia didn't understand. She grabbed the #4 clipper and started around my ears. OK...that's fine. Then I realized she was going over the top of my head. As soon as she did that it was already too late. Unless I want an inverse mohawk (that isn't centered), she's gotta finish it now. But that wasn't what I asked for.
So now I look like I did when I got out of boot camp. Hair is about 1/2" long all the way around. I will have to wear a hat for a time so my scalp doesn't sunburn. No, I'm not exaggerating.
And she knew it wasn't what I wanted, but all she said was "we'll get it right next time; is that going to be cash or card". Again, I'm not exaggerating. Not even a discount or a comp.
If you're male, don't do it. The $10 cut sounds nice, but I wish I could take this cut back.
