  • after reading other reviews and seeing the gorgeous pictures i decided its finally time to try moshi for the first time. i went there, and it took a while to find it. its across from the izakya and if you are not going there on purpose you will not even know its there. no signage for it. but keep walking past the fountain and past nakamura and you will hit it. its to the right. So i get there and head directly to the moshi stand. there was tons of fresh options and its so so so clear that whatever was in the display was made today. because it is a small display and the quality is so so so obvious. it was oozing freshness and quality just by sight. the lady behind the counter was asian and i suspect japanese. she was so very pretty and took great care of her appearance. she inspired cleanliness. she had a caring attitude and when i asked her to select for me 4 flavors to try she did so without trying to ask me what i like.. which i respected. because i was deferring to her taste and she had confidence enough to make the choices, just as i asked her to do. my total was $11.30 and they come in a nice sturdy box. i think there was about 8 flavors in total. i am certainly returning for the rest - with others. anyway i tried strawberry, mango, green tea and chestnut. the first two were my favorites. although there is seating there i chose to sit outside near the fountain enjoying my food too much that someone came up to me to see what i was eating ;) the filling inside them is so rich. the mango had a custard inside while the strawberry had jam inside. stupendous. i had no digestive upsets after eating 2 in a row. i am usually one to suffer greatly after some foods. but those were light and extremely sweet. i gave one to my kid when i got home and told her its edible playdough. she asked that every week she can get one instead of her chocolate treat. and my kid will not give up chocolate for anything
