| - As another reviewer mentioned, there aren't many gelato shops in the area so Love Gelato is bound to be well rated. However...I don't think I've ever had gelato that "did not taste good". In fact, it seems impossible to have bad gelato unless it's ice cream, sherbet, sorbet or froyo mislabelled as gelato. Although if you read Thrillist, which compares ice cream, gelato, sorbet, etc...North America supposedly has a "bastardized" version of real Italian gelato, so no matter what...we probably ain't gonna ever get 5 star, 100% authentic gelato unless we fly overseas!
I digress.
I like Love Gelato because they are open past 8pm on a Sunday, they scoop three generous scoops when you order a triple cup (please don't ever cheap out on this, it's not worth losing customers by giving us any less of a scoop), and there are a lot of people who stop in for dessert at night which is the best sign of high food turnover, ensuring the gelato isn't just sittin' there for weeks getting frost bite.
I did not give five stars in this review, because I had the intention of finding a particular gelato flavour which they did not carry (i.e. salted caramel). And so my search continues.
