  • OK, so i went to Brown Brothers to buy a vehicle in November of last year, 2014. The individual who was taking care of me at the time showed me several nice vehicles and i kept coming back to the 2002 Suburban. I took it for a test drive and checked it out and decided to purchase it. After a few initial issues with the paperwork on their behalf, all worked out. I have enjoyed the vehicle since i purchased it and feel i made a great decision in buying it. BUT, here comes my main issue, and to me it is a serious one. As we all know, when you take a vehicle for a test drive you are unfamiliar with the dashboard switches and dials until you experiment with it and learn about it. While we were on the test drive, i specifically asked the car dealer if the air conditioner worked, he reached over, turned a dial and cold air blew in my face, he then just as quickly turned the dial off stating "no sense in wasting the air conditioning in November". I had no reason to doubt him, but about 2 weeks ago i turned the air conditioning on for the first time since that day and i got hot air blowing in my face as it wasn't working at all. I look back to when i took it for a test drive and realized that the car dealer had only turned the dial which allows the fan to blow the cold November air into the car, he never turned the air conditioner on at all, he just depended on the fact that i was unaware of how the dashboard worked. I asked specifically if it worked as i have medical issues. Now i have to have it fixed by my mechanic ASAP at my cost. Even though i like the vehicle i chose to buy, i don't like to be lied to and be taken for a fool. It is for this reason, i will never return to buy another vehicle there and i make sure everyone i know hears my story. I think the car dealer's name was Bob, but i can not be sure as i was unimpressed with his lack of professionalism and curt manner.
