I want to comment on another example on their great customer service
As mentioned before, I like coming here for its ease of parking in DT toronto. What I didn't realize is that the parking validation only kicks in with $25 purchase. I've always bought more than that, until 2 days ago, when my total came to only a few dollars short.
When the cashier told me that my purchase didn't meet the requirement, I shrugged my shoulders and made a mental note to remind myself for next time. She had a chat with another cashier and came back and tell me that they would validate this time for me since it was obvious that I was not aware of this.
I am not suggesting ppl try to take advantage of nice cashiers or give a good review because I got a freebie. What I like about this is that the staff here are able to think on their feet and relate to the customers, instead of being drones who follow orders to the last letter. In a way, I think it reflects the company culture and the degree of freedom employees have in problem solving.
