Husband and I landed here on Easter Sunday after our fave diner (5th Ave.) was closed (duh-family owned- shoulda thought about that) and My Florist Cafe was a no-show on the pancakes.
Everyone always worries about parking for a downtown spot and their parking lot is super efficient and they validate if you patronize.
The hostess and any staff we encountered upon entering were super friendly and we were quickly seated. I was a little worried that we would feel underdressed considering we actually planned on diner-casual and not really brunch-casual but we were fine.
We took to the buffet and had some fun. They didn't have the pancakes I was looking for but $29 a person for all you can eat and drink mimosas AND bloody mary's??!! Holla!
The omelette bar featured local ingredients (Schreiner's sausage) and some fun alternatives to the norm.
The seafood buffet had oysters, smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail and some gazpacho shooters (weren't my fave but worth a try).
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely go back. I could see this as a great client lunch and am going to keep my eyes peeled for those specials.
Oh and McKenzie the server was fab! He was super efficient, friendly and fun.
