| - Dined at SOL for lunch with my mother on a Saturday, and was pleased to discover brunch was available. Armando was our server, and he was very attentive, friendly and made great recommendations to accommodate my food restrictions. I had the skinny margarita for $5 for checking in on Yelp. Warm chips, delicious bean dip and a very tasty fresh salsa were a great start while we leisurely read the entire menu. We shared the naked guacamole, which was a portion perfect for two. Mom ordered the crab cake Benedict, with eggs poached firm. This was a beautiful dish to behold, and she really enjoyed the flavors and crispy bacon. I considered brunch but then decided on the carne asada taco plate with rice and spicy slaw. The carne was cooked to order, clearly not made ahead, and the steak bites were still pink inside. Very tender and flavorful, the 3 taco portion was impressive when compared with the tiny tacos at an un-named Mexican restaurant in nearby Kierland Commons. The rice was as expected, but the slaw was delectable, with pepitas mixed in and a tangy spicy bite. We thoroughly enjoyed this meal, and proclaimed we would return!
