The laundromat is clean and modern inside. I would rate the prices as average. It's in a safe part of town and there is ample parking. There is also plenty of comfortable seating inside. I rated this facility as two stars because there is always a putrid burning odor of cigarette smoke emanating off of employees and customers. Both employees and customers also smoke outside the store and since the doors are often left open the smoke floats into the laundromat. I usually find myself thinking I need to wash my clothes someplace else to keep them from smelling bad after washing my clothes here. The employees do laundry by the pound for customers in the facility so many of the machines are often occupied though there have always been machines (of all size) available for use by general patrons. Most of the employees look unhappy. I removed two stars for the regular smell of cigarettes on employees and due to smoke entering the facility through the open door and one star for the employees looking so miserable and being fairly uncommunicative. The reason I continue to go here is that this is so far the best place in Pittsburgh I have found to do laundry. Other laundromats I have visited are either filthy and unsafe or actually have patrons smoking inside as they do their laundry. If the management could prevent cigarette smoke from entering the facility and have stricter hygiene requirements for some of its employees (so they don't smell so strongly of smoke) the laundromat would be greatly improved.
