| - The last two reviews are by Catalyst staff, and at least one other is the owner of a penthouse. Of course you will receive special treatment when you pay the most.
This is the WORST residential building in Uptown Charlotte. The concierge staff is friendly and it is a good location, but everything else about the building will beg you to leave.
Stacia Phifer, the manager of the building, is incompetent, rude, and lazy. Do not expect a return call or e-mail within a month of your first request.
The parking sucks. If you don't work Uptown and can't walk to work, have fun parking on the 6th floor and spending 15 minutes to look for a spot in YOUR OWN BUILDING. They call it the "Catalyst Garage" but 75% of the spots are reserved for Ally employees. And you're only allowed 2 guest validations per month, or tell your friends to pay a ridiculous hourly rate to come visit you.
Either 1 or 2 of the only 3 elevators in the 500-unit, 27 stories building are always either reserved or broken. Have fun waiting 10 minutes for an elevator when you're in a rush to get somewhere.
Do NOT choose to live here. Look at the Avenue, the new Element, or the Arlington. The VUE is operated by same management, I would stay clear of them also.
