Let's be honest here, whole foods is not exactly your budget supermarket. Some of the same products can be purchased in other stores for much less. So if you're the type of person that eats a lot of Primo pasta, Chef Boyardee or Uncle Ben's 20 years shelf life instant rice, Whole Foods is not for you.
Firstly, the location is great if you live in the area, otherwise the area is in your typical stop and go Yonge Street manual transmission hating traffic that us Torontonians have grown accustomed to. Parking is underground and is validated by Whole Foods which is great given the area and difficulty of movement above ground. There has always been plenty of parking every time I've visited.
Drawing on my initial point, you come here for quality, not value. Best way to describe it is they filter all the bad quality stuff for you while providing options of not so commercial foods. Of course you pay for this quality or lack of economy of scale with your wallet. It's a commercial farmers market.
The selection of this location is great, from ready made seemingly 'healthy' foods to a great selection of meats. I come here for my steaks. If you compare the quality of the meat vs let's say Walmart there is no comparison. It tastes ridiculously differently to the point where you'd think the Walmart's butcher has entered into a partnership with Pepto Bismol.
