- Surly service
- Sloppy, overpriced work
- Four days!
They charged $90--IN ADVANCE-- to weld the nose bridge on my old glasses. The weld was crooked. They scratched a lens. I say $90 is a lot to pay even when they do good work. It couldn't have taken more than five minutes.
It took four days! My guess is they're sending the work out of state. Ship your glasses to California and get them fixed for LESS! http://www.fixyourframes.com/metal_frames.htm
The miserable old hag who processed my request denied responsibility for the scratch. She said she was throwing in the rubber nose pieces for free but then charged $10 for them. She answered my questions in a snappish, condescending tone.
Sometimes you have to pick your battles. I was in no mood to fight with this cantankerous wretch. You know you've dealt with a venture that doesn't deserve any customers, but sometimes it's better to just pay and get on with your life. I didn't want to spend a single additional second in this den of vipers.
Reduced circumstance led me here. When I had a job, I would just get new glasses. Now I'm forced to repair rather than replace. Having no money puts you at the mercy of shoddy operators like this.
It's funny that this place is next door to the despicable Westgate Book Exchange, another business that survives only by the workings of evil forces. Someone needs to call an exorcist for the Panorama Shopping Center, the demon-infested complex where these shops are located. They're being taken over by customer-torturing zombies. http://www.yelp.com/biz/westgate-book-exchange-las-vegas#hrid:9eqWUcmWJ79EM_oBUbUyhA
To the people who own M&M Soul Food Restaurant: Move. Get out! Before it's too late! http://www.yelp.com/biz/m-and-m-soul-food-cafe-las-vegas
